Homemaking and Companionship

Homecare has been known to promote healing and prolong life.

We match our in-home staff with our clients based on the individual’s needs. We provide the necessary assistance needed at home to maintain a safe and independent lifestyle. Our homemaker service support’s the needs of our clients by assisting with the following:

  • Care of a pet
  • Companionship can include lunch with a client, friendly conversation, golfing, shopping, etc.
  • Errand services
  • Family caregiver relief
  • House sitting when client is away
  • Maintaining a safe home environment
  • Meal preparation, planning, shopping, and cueing
  • Mobility
  • Phone calls and correspondence
  • Reminder services including medications, appointments, and routines
  • Shopping assistance for groceries, holiday shopping, etc.
  • Transportation for medical services (doctors appointments, outpatients tests, etc.) and for non-medical services (attending events, gatherings, church, visiting friends, socialization, groceries.)
  • Upkeep of client’s home or camp (house cleaning, change linens, wash/dry/fold/iron laundry, organize household goods, etc.)
  • Wake up and tuck in services

Personal Care (In-home Support)

Our team of professionally trained staff consists of certified nursing assistants (CNA), and personal support specialists (PSS). The focus of our in-home support services is on assisting a client to maintain independence. PSS services provide the necessary care required to allow clients to live safely in their home. We can implement an individualized in-home care plan in as few as twenty-four (24) hours of a request for service. These services can range from one (1) hour a month to twenty-four (24) hours per day and are available seven (7) days a week. Coverage is available for a family caregiver, respite/relief, short and long term, and for other needs you may require.

Our home care service providers assist our clients with direct and indirect care needs consisting of:

  • Bathing, dressing, toileting
  • Transferring, bed mobility, fall prevention
  • Cooking, meal preparation, feeding, fluid and food cueing
  • Light housekeeping
  • Medication reminders
  • End of life support
  • Grocery shopping, transportation, assistance with appointments
  • Dementia and Memory Care
  • Overnight care
