Home-based Services for Children/Adults with Mental Retardation and Autism
Home based services for children/adults with mental retardation or autism focuses primarily upon activities to assist the child/adult with the following:
behavioral modification/management.
social development to promote self maintenance.
self care and hygiene.
life skills.
safety awareness.
communication skills.
community integration.
other services to address sensory, motor, and psychological needs.
Staff will work with the children/adults and their family to promote increased independence through learned/modified behaviors in order to function at optimal capacity with professional oversight and guidance.
Currently providing services in Androscoggin, Franklin, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Oxford, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Sagadahoc, Somerset, and Waldo counties.
