Long Term Care
Our professionals provide the highest quality healthcare services. With a focus on excellence, Assistance Plus allows adult clients to reach their maximum potential while remaining independent in their home environment. Our staff consists of skilled nurses, certified nursing assistants, and personal support staff providing services from one to twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
- Skilled nurses may perform a comprehensive health assessment, monitor vital signs, provide a variety of nursing procedures, and supervise certified nursing assistants.
- Certified nursing assistants assist patients with complex activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and range-of-motion. In addition, they may perform light housekeeping duties such as meal preparation, changing the bedding, and laundry.
- Personal support staff provide basic personal care, bathing, and mobility along with routine housekeeping duties, meal preparation, grocery shopping, errands, and companionship.
- Homemakers assist clients with light housekeeping chores only.
Services are presently provided in Androscoggin, Franklin, Hancock, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Oxford, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Sagadahoc, Somerset, and Waldo counties.
